Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What can you tell me about your use of local ingredients?
A: We grow many of our own vegetables and herbs here. I also preserve foods according to safety standards set by the National Center for Home Food Preservation and University of Missouri Extension. Some of these foods are used in food preparation: tomatoes, green beans, onions, smoked cheeses, cucumbers, jalapenos, and fresh herbs, to name a few.

Q:  To what areas do you deliver?

A: All our services are available Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, and Republic. For orders outside this area, please contact us as we may require a minimum spend to accept your order. There is no delivery charge within these areas.

Q: How do you deliver your products?

A: We use use disposable pans and platters, covered with foil lids that are transported in a portable hot box container. These platters may or may not be suitable to serve your food for every style of event event. Some garnish may arrive on the side to maintain freshness and appearance.

Q: Do you provide set up services for my order?
A: Your order will be delivered in disposable pans and containers. Disposable paper goods are available upon request. At this time, we do not provide set-up or tear down services except for charcuterie, which will be set up on site or delivered ready to be presented on a black, disposable tray. You can also rent a beautiful, acacia or bamboo charcuterie board, provide your own, or we will set up your grazing table.

Q: What time will my order be delivered?

A: We deliver all our orders at least 30 minutes before your event start time. If you require a more accurate time, please let us know while checking out or contact us to let us know. Saturday deliveries are between 12.00pm and 4.00m. For some items, we recommend a "keep warm" time in a 150 degree oven until service.

Q: Do you deliver on Sundays and Holidays?

A: Yes, but our minimum order is $500.

Q: Where do you prepare the food?
A: All food is prepared in the home kitchen of a smoke-free home. Surfaces and equipment are fully sanitized prior to preparation.

Q: How much notice do you need to prepare my order?

A: The chef works a full-time job.  While every care will be given to prepare your order to the highest quality standards and care, we ask for a 7 day notice for your order. If you need your order any earlier, please contact us to double-check we can fulfill your order. Extra charges for last minute orders may apply.

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A: Yes, but a cancellation fee may apply depending on the notice.

Q: Do you provide Gluten Free & Dairy Free Options?

A: Yes, please specify your dietary requirement and we will take extra care while preparing your order.

Q: Do you provide Vegetarian and Vegan Options?

A: Yes, some items can be adjusted for vegetarian and vegan options.  Please specify your dietary requirement and we will take extra care while preparing your order. Due to the cost of some vegan ingredients, a surcharge may apply.

Q: I have an allergy or dietary requirement, do you cater for that?

A: Of course, just let us know your requirement and we will do our best to accommodate.
